The Founding 25

Two years of putting AI to work, alongside twenty-four CEOs doing the same.

The first twenty-five seats in Empractica are free for two years, worth $9,000 each at the annual rate. In return, founding members take part, bring real questions, and help shape what Empractica becomes as its private advisory board. The cohort starts together on October 20.

Who we’re choosing

Four things we look for.

The mix is the point. We’re putting together a room, not a list.

The senior-most leader.

CEO, president, owner, managing partner. If that isn’t you, tell us who we should talk to.

A company of roughly 50 to 500 people.

Any industry. Professional services, trades, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare practices, agencies.

Already living with the AI questions.

You don’t need to have deployed anything. You do need a real question you want answered.

Someone who will take part.

Bring real problems, and weigh in on other people’s. The sessions work because members do.

The terms

What the seat is, and what we ask in return.

What the seat is

Two years of full membership at no cost, starting October 20. Free for as long as you stay active.

Active means you’re in at least two of the four sessions in a typical month, you join one advisory call a quarter, and you answer when we ask for feedback, which is twice a year at most.

Life happens, and a quiet month is fine. If a seat goes quiet for a full quarter we’ll check in. If it stays quiet for two, we’ll offer it to the next person on the list, with nothing owed for the time you were in.

What we ask in return

  • Your time, as above.
  • Your honest take on the advisory board: one 60-minute call a quarter, and the occasional two-question email about the sessions, the tools, and the pricing.
  • Confidentiality. What’s said in the room stays in the room.
  • Your name on the founding member list, if you’re willing. That one is optional.

Why the first twenty-five matter

Scott & James
Co-founders

We kept watching capable leaders do the reading and try the tools, while their businesses struggled to put AI to use.

We’re building the bridge between seeing what AI can do and using it in your own business. We teach an idea or demonstrate it in action, then lead an exercise that helps you work out how it applies to your team, workflows, and decisions.

The founding cohort shapes what this becomes. You’ll see what we build first, and we’ll ask you what’s useful and what isn’t. That’s why the seats are free, and why we’re choosing carefully.

The process

How it works from here.

Applications are reviewed as they come in. The only fixed date is the first session.

  1. Apply.

About eight minutes. We ask about what you’ve tried, what you’d bring to the room, and what you can commit to.

  2. A twenty-minute conversation.

Shortlisted applicants talk with one of the founders. It’s a conversation, not an interview: what you’re working on, what you’d want from the room, and whether the timing works for you.

  3. An offer, if it’s a fit.

Seats are offered on a rolling basis until the twenty-five are filled. Accept, sign the NDA, and we send the calendar, the Community invitation, and the first session’s brief.

  4. The first Working Webinar is Tuesday, October 20.

Founding members who join later start at the next session. There’s an advisory board call in the first month to set expectations.

Apply for a seat.

Questions

A 60-minute Working Webinar every other week, with optional roundtables on the alternate weeks. Staying active means being in at least two of the four sessions in a typical month, one 60-minute advisory call a quarter, and a reply when we ask for feedback, which is twice a year at most.

Replays and exercise materials are posted in the Community. Join live when you can; the guided exercise and the peer discussion are where the value is. A quiet month is fine. If a seat is quiet for a full quarter we’ll check in, and if it’s quiet for two we’ll offer it to the next person on the list, with nothing owed for the time you were in.

Yes. Two years of full membership at no cost, worth $9,000 at the standard rate of $4,500 a year. It stays free for as long as you stay active. There is no card on file.

Founding members can continue at the standard rate of $4,500 a year, or leave. Nothing is owed for the founding period. Renewal terms to be confirmed.

Founding seats are for the senior-most leader of the company: CEO, president, owner running the company day to day, or managing partner. If that isn’t you, the seat can’t be yours, but the application asks who we should talk to, and we will.

Fifty to five hundred is the default, not a hard line. Under 50, we’ll look at whether the company is clearly growing and whether your AI question is a real one. Over 500, we’ll look at whether you’re hands-on and running one business rather than a division. Apply and tell us.

Founding members form Empractica’s private advisory board. You see what we build first, and you tell us what you think of it: the sessions, the tools, the pricing. One 60-minute call a quarter and the occasional two-question email.

What’s said in the room stays in the room. Founding members sign a short NDA before the cohort starts, and confidentiality is a condition of the seat. What we keep from sessions is the reusable pattern, stripped of anything identifiable.

Yes, at any time. Nothing is owed for the time you were in. Your seat goes to the next person on the list.

Seats that go quiet get reoffered, and everyone who applied is on that list. Standard membership is also open at $4,500 a year, with no cohort to wait for.
